Clear learning that supports better performance.

Most organisations are not short on content. They are short on clarity.

Policies get written. Inductions get delivered. Processes get documented. But new starters still ask the same questions. Teams still do things differently. And managers still spend time correcting what should have been clear from the start. The Spindle takes the content you already have and reshapes it into learning that actually guides behaviour. Not more information. Clearer, better structured guidance built around the moments that matter most in your team's day.We work across the full learning lifecycle. That includes converting documents and presentations into engaging eLearning, building workshops from scratch or from existing material, end to end instructional design, capability development, learning audits, and consulting on how your learning and development function is set up to serve your business. If it is learning adjacent, we can help.

Built around how your team actually works.

We start with one question: what needs to happen more consistently in your team?

That becomes the brief. You share your existing documents and materials, however scattered or out of date. We do the heavy lifting. We cut the duplication, surface what is essential, and map it to the real decisions and behaviours your team needs to get right. Then we reshape it into something people will actually use.Depending on what you need, that might be a clear employee handbook, an operational playbook, a facilitator guide, a suite of eLearning modules, or a workshop your managers can run themselves. Every output is built around real situations your people face every day, not hypothetical scenarios or borrowed case studies.Every project is scoped clearly before work begins. You will always know what you are getting, what it involves, and when it will be ready.

The right experience in the right hands.

You have the content. The problem is it is not doing the job it needs to do.

You have the processes. Things are documented somewhere. But new starters still ask the same questions, your team still does things differently, and you are spending more time correcting than you should be.Maybe you are growing quickly and the informal ways of working are not scaling. Maybe you have a folder of outdated documents that nobody reads. Maybe you are heading into a period of change and need everything tightened up before it gets messier. Maybe you have a pile of old PowerPoints and PDFs that need to become something people can actually learn from.Angela is a learning designer and capability consultant with 15 years of experience across startups, growing businesses, large multinationals, and government. Her work spans instructional design, learning experience design, and organisational capability uplift. This is the discipline of understanding why people do or do not do what organisations need them to do, and designing the conditions that change that. She started The Spindle after watching the same gap appear every time. Standards were set. Training was delivered. Processes were documented. And yet day-to-day behaviour still did not consistently reflect any of it. The fix was rarely something new. It was making what already existed clearer, more structured, and easier to act on.The Spindle is deliberately small. You work directly with Angela from first conversation to final delivery. No handoffs, no juniors, no generic frameworks dressed up as custom work. Just focused, practical work scoped clearly and delivered on time. The moment it lands, clients tell us the same thing: ahh, it's so much simpler now.
If you are nodding, let's talk.

Less confusion. Faster starts.
More consistent teams.

This is what the work looks like when clarity is built in from the start.

A small trades business was losing time every time a new employee or apprentice started. Information was scattered and duplicated across more than 100 documents, files, and process notes. Nothing was consistent. Expectations were unclear. The ramp to independence was long and frustrating for everyone involved. We consolidated everything into a single employee handbook and role-specific playbooks. No more hunting through folders. No more relying on whoever happened to be nearby to answer a question. The deeper training content is now being converted into mobile-friendly micro learning, built to be accessed on the job and during onboarding. Whether a new apprentice is working through it on day one or a team member needs a quick reminder mid-task, the information is there, on their phone, in the moment they need it.The result has been faster onboarding, clearer expectations, and a team that spends less time answering the same questions and more time getting on with the work.Project ongoing.
